PERSONAL FLOTATION DEVICE, PROTECTIVE WEAR, & EYE PROTECTION
You and your passengers must wear a personal flotation device (PFD) approved by the appropriate authorities and suitable for personal watercraft use. A PFD provides you buoyancy to help stay afloat in the water. In most states, wearing a PFD is the law.

WAVERUNNERS
In addition to a PFD, wear protective clothing. Severe internal injuries can occur if water is forced into body cavities as a result of falling into the water or being near the jet thrust nozzle. You must wear shorts with neoprene (wet-suit
material) as riders not wearing neoprene shorts have received severe rectal, vaginal and internal injuries resulting in permanent damage. Normal swim wear does not provide adequate protection. We also recommend wearing
gloves and footwear appropriate for personal watercraft riding to provide you with added grip and protection from abrasions.

Wearing eye protection to keep water, wind, and glare from the sun out of your eyes is a good idea. We recommend adding restraining straps that float in case you fall off your WaveRunner.
