When the soft sand is calling, and you want to play onshore and still be close to the water, it’s
tempting to want to beach your boat directly on the sand. Although regular beaching can be hard on your hull, the following beaching tips will help minimize potential damage to your boat hull and jet drive.

BEACHING TIPS
• Make sure no obstacles, boats, or swimmers are near the beach.
• Approach the shore slowly and stop the engines when the water is about 3-feet deep from the bottom of the water to ensure that small pebbles, sand, other debris don’t get sucked into the jet intakes of your boat.
• Get out of the boat and pull the bow up on the beach.
• When leaving the beach, push the boat out into the water at least 3-feet deep before starting the engines.
