The P1 AquaX Pro Enduro Championship rolled into Daytona Beach for Round 2, where Florida native Dustin Farthing put on a show for the ages, dominating in the surf aboard his Yamaha FX SVHO WaveRunner.

The #79 Farthing Racing FX SVHO won the holeshot in all three motos and led nearly all 90 minutes of the racing, except for the final lap of Moto 2 when a rogue wave ripped out his lanyard.

After finishing 1-2-1 for the weekend, Dustin Farthing leads the P1 AquaX Pro Enduro championship by 23 points after two rounds. Fellow Yamaha FX SVHO riders Tory Snyder, Sophie Francis, and Eric Lagopoulos fill the top five overall positions, along with Kawasaki racer Camden Powell.

“We’re excited for Dustin, who is riding with the same passion for racing as he did years ago when he won his first World and National titles for us,” said Yamaha WaveRunner Racing team manager Bryce Parker. “When you put Dustin’s talent and experience on a world-class racecraft like our FX SVHO, fireworks happen.”

Pro Enduro racing is a test of rider skill and mechanical endurance. A rider needs to have both stamina and strength to go the distance, and their equipment's reliability is just as important. There are three motos that last 30 minutes plus 1 lap.

P1 AquaX Pro Enduro racing action continues Sept. 1-3 in St. Petersburg, FL.
