Yamaha FX SVHO, GP1800R SVHO, and EXR WaveRunners Dominate Pro Classes at the IJSBA World Finals
Yamaha WaveRunners world finals racing

Yamaha WaveRunner racers crowded the pro class podiums at the IJSBA World Finals held this weekend in Lake Havasu City, AZ, winning the Pro-Am Runabout Stock, Pro-Am Runabout Super Stock, and Runabout 1100 Stock World Championship titles.

And just as awe-inspiring is the fact that Yamaha riders accomplished that aboard the full-size FX SVHO, mid-size GP1800R SVHO, and compact-size EXR platforms. To date, Yamaha is the only manufacturer to achieve that feat in recent watercraft racing history.

“For several years now, Yamaha WaveRunners have set the benchmark for performance, reliability, and durability on the professional racing circuit, dominating the P1 AquaX national tour and IJSBA World Finals,” said Bryce Parker, Yamaha WaterCraft racing manager. “But to do that aboard three completely different platforms as we did at the World Finals is truly exciting and a testament to our engineering and design leadership across our entire lineup.”

The IJSBA World Finals, held every year since 1982 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona U.S.A., is the focal point on the international personal watercraft racing calendar..
